Mr Fothergills Spring Onion Savel is a popular well-established variety producing high yields of large tasty sprouts. Vigorous and fast growing, upright habit, no thinning required. Easy to grow in pots.

Sow thinly 1.5cm deep in pots in full sun. For garden plantings allow 20cm between rows. Firm down gently and keep moist. No thinning is necessary if sown thinly. Harvest alternate plants as required, this allows more space to develop. Seedlings emerge 10-14 days. Sow year round.
