Lathyrus odoratus

Bred by Dr Keith Hammett. Sweet Pea Harbinger is a Spring flowering variety with a Maroon standard and violet wings. Large flowers, five to six per stem. Reminiscent of the original sweet pea.

How To Grow
Sow 12mm () deep in flowering position in full sun. Water the bed well the day before planting. Dont water again until after the seedlings have emerged. Train young plants up a fence or wall, or support with sticks or netting. Requires good drainage.

Seedlings emerge 10-14 days.
