Steudnera kerrii – 6cm

Steudnera kerrii is a small tropical aroid native to Southeast Asia, commonly found in moist Himalayan montane forests. It’s a rare aroid with care requirements similar to Alocasia and Caladium.

Water: This plant prefers consistently moist soil, but it is essential to avoid waterlogging. Ensure the soil drains well, allowing it to dry slightly between waterings. Overwatering can lead to root rot.

Light: It does best in bright, indirect light. Direct sunlight should be avoided, as it can cause the leaves to scorch.

Humidity: Steudnera kerrii thrives in high humidity, making it suitable for rooms like bathrooms or environments where humidity is easily maintained. Mist regularly or use a humidifier to provide optimal conditions.
