Days to Harvest: 100. A beautiful heirloom winter squash from Italy. The large grey-green bumpy turbans average 4.5kgs (1lbs) in weight. The orange flesh is sweet and dry and very suitable for use in soups and pasta dishes.

Sowing: Sow seed directly outdoors in a sunny site when the soil temperature is at least 18-20C (6-70F). Sow 2.5cm (1″) deep, 6 to 8 seeds per hill in hills 2m (6′) apart.

Comments: This is an excellent keeper with flavour that improves with storage.
