Hoya ‘Flamingo Dreams’ is a hybrid Hoya prized for its emerging foliage, which unfurls in vivid shades of pink, salmon, and coral before gradually transitioning to green as the leaves mature. At any given time the plant carries a mix of pink and green, creating a warm, layered colour palette that shifts as it grows.

Origins
Hoya ‘Flamingo Dreams’ is a cultivated hybrid. Hoyas as a genus are native to tropical and subtropical Asia and Australasia, where they grow as epiphytes in forest canopy. The pink new-growth colouring is linked to anthocyanin production, which protects the young leaf tissue from light damage before chlorophyll develops fully.

Soil and Substrate
As an epiphytic Hoya, it needs a very open, fast-draining substrate just like our Hoya Premium Potting Mix.
