Cattleya schofieldiana comes from the Atlantic coastal forests of Brazil, where it grows as an epiphyte in warm, moist conditions with plenty of light and air circulation. The flowers are medium-sized and show petals in shades from soft lilac to brownish pink, often with subtle spots or shading.
