Native to:
Papua New Guineas Yamor region. Grows in shaded understorey.
Water:
Use an airy, moisture-retentive mix. Keep substrate evenly damp but avoid waterlogging; water lightly every few days or when the top third of the compost is dry.Pot size will affect frequency: smaller pots dry faster, so adjust accordingly.
Light:
Bright, filtered lightmorning sun or diffuse open-sky illumination; avoid direct rays to preserve burning. A terrarium or grow-light shelf under low-level LED lighting works well.
Humidity:
Thrives in high humidity. If outside a sealed enclosure, use a humidifier or pebble tray and group plants to boost moisture. Due to the extreme humidity needs, terrarium or cabinet culture is highly recommended.
Temperature:
Prefers warm indoor temperatures: day 2026C, night 1620C. Avoid drops below 15C. Keep away from cold drafts or heating elements.
