Anthurium acaule is a herbaceous plant native to the Lesser Antilles. This plant has elongated leaves without leaf stalks or petioles. Its produces a black spadix, surrounded by a brightly coloured vase-shaped protective bract or spathe.

Growth pattern: Tuberous, compact & upright

Water: Little and often. Keep moist but not waterlogged.

Ideal Position: South, east or north facing

Light: Medium to bright, indirect light.

Humidity disclaimer: This plant will grow well outside of a terrarium or cabinet. However, all tropical plants thrive with higher humidity levels. To achieve this we suggest grouping plants together, or putting them in a bathroom or kitchen which gets regular use.
