A rare twist on a classic beauty, Alocasia ‘Dragon Scale’ Mint is a jaw-dropping version of Alocasia baginda. Its thick, textured leaves really do look like dragon scalesonly this time, they’re painted in silvery mint tones with pale green veins and soft marbling.

Native to: Alocasia ‘Dragon Scale’ originates from the tropical forests of Borneo, where it thrives in humid, shaded environments.

Water: Water Alocasia ‘Dragon Scale’ little and often, ensuring the soil remains moist but not waterlogged. Consistent moisture is crucial, but avoid letting the plant sit in standing water to prevent root rot. Allow the top 2-3 cm of soil to dry slightly between waterings.

Light: This plant thrives in medium to bright, indirect or filtered light. It can tolerate lower light levels but grows best when provided with ample indirect light. A position near a south, east, or north-facing window with filtered sunlight is ideal.

Humidity: Alocasia ‘Dragon Scale’ will grow well outside of a terrarium or cabinet, but like all tropical plants, it thrives in higher humidity levels. Aim for humidity levels around 60% or higher.
