Woolly Lambs Ear (Stachys byzantina)

Grown for its alluring velvety, silvery-green foliage, this herbaceous perennial ground cover produces dense, low-spreading rosettes of tongue-shaped leaves (up to 4\” long). Adaptable, drought tolerant, and extremely easy to grow, Woolly Lambs Ear is also prized for its antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties. Deer resistant. Minimum of 50 seeds per packet. Germination: 21 – 35 days for germination. Start indoors 4 – 8 weeks before last frost date. Gently press seeds into seed starting media. Do not cover; light is required for germination. Transplant in full sun after last frost. Space plants 10-12 inches apart.
