The Mixal multilayer pipe from the Valsir brand combines the advantages of multiple layered materials that work in synergy, optimizing the efficiency, quality and performance of a vast range of plumbing and heating systems.

A single product with multiple layers:

• external layer : in high density polyethylene PE which provides mechanical, electrical and chemical protection to the intermediate aluminum layer, also protecting it from possible electrochemical aggression by various types of substances contained in the soil;
• intermediate layer : butt-welded aluminum alloy gives flexibility and ductility during installation and also creates a barrier against light and oxygen which tend to wear out the systems over time;
• internal layer : in PE-Xb cross-linked polyethylene which guarantees very low pressure drops, as well as having obtained certification for the conduction of food fluids and drinking water;
• binding layers: made up of a powerful adhesive that ensures perfect adhesion between the various layers.

This stratification allows you to obtain excellent properties that are difficult to achieve from pipes made of a single material. Further advantages are represented by the excellent mechanical properties, including flexibility and vibration attenuation capacity, which make it ideal for seismic areas ; guaranteed durability of at least 50 years , with use at pressures of 10 bar and temperatures up to 95C; thermal expansion approximately 8 times lower than that of plastic pipes and is comparable to that of metal pipes (copper/steel) but with greater lightness and a high degree of acoustic insulation .

It is suitable for various applications, such as: distribution of hot and cold drinking water; radiator heating systems; convector heating systems; radiant cooling and heating systems; compressed air distribution systems and industrial plants.

The installation must be carried out by expert and authorized technical personnel. The integral roll is 50m; the price is to be understood per metre.
