Styrax obassia

Fragrant Snowbell. Native to China , Japan & Korea. Most elegant small deciduous tree with pure white clusters of Bell flowers hanging beneath the branches in spring. The foliage is rounded and much larger than other Styrax species adding great texture to your landscape. Styrax can grow in hot wind protected high rainfall areas like the Dandenongs , in hotter dryer areas they need woodland and supplemented watering in the late-spring summer.
