These cacti (all part of genusSchlumbergera) are native to the coastal mountains of southeast Brazil and naturally grow among the tree branches or in cracks in the rocks at high elevations (2000 feet or more). In other words, they prefer a humid climate, not a dry one, so its important to water these cacti more regularly than most succulents.
