Disporum cantoniense

Also known as Night Heron or Chinese Fairy Bells, this striking perennial has dark purple-black stems in spring. Stems are arching and create a bamboo-like appearance. Clusters of yellow flowers sit amongst the dark leaves on the branch tips. A very intriguing selection.
