Acer palmatum (Japanese Maple)

Acer palmatum, commonly known as Japanese maple or smooth Japanese maple, is a deciduous shrub or small tree that is native to Japan, Korea, China, eastern Mongolia, and southeast Russia. It has palmate leaves with five to nine lobes that may come in green or red (or both), depending on the variety and season.
