6″ Tradescantia Silver Plus

This pretty Tradescantia is Silver Plus a lot of other colors. Fresh grass green, deep purple, sage and violet all vie with each other for attention in wild zebra stripes. Offset, soft, pointed leaves emerge quickly on jointy, multi/green stems at a rapid pace. Peek closely at the leaves in sunlight and see the sparkly, little crystally cells on the foliage not to mention lots of little hairs. Wandering Jews are known for their real fast growth, easy propagation and ease of care. You can just lay cut stems on damp soil surface and they’ll root. In water they root really fast too. They root so fast there’s just no excuse for every one of your friends not having one too! Wandering Jews of all varieties are wonderful planted in the bare soil of your large specimens, they will cover the soil and dive over the edge and trail nicely.

Quick Care Guide:

• Water – Medium (3):Water plant when dry. Plant does not like soil to always be moist, but doesn’t like to stay dry once becomes dry. Water as soon as soil is dry.
• Light – Low/Med (2):These plants need some diffused light to stay happy. Prefersif there is a window in the room, but doesn’t need to be very light nor close to it.
• Difficulty – Med (3):Not too difficult to keep happy, but does require some attention.
