Tradescantia Sillamontana is called familiarly cobweb spiderwort, for the cobwebby, long, white hairs all over the foliage. Cute little 1″ sage green leaves grow atop each other in slightly cupped, pointy ovals. Almost succulent in nature, it likes arid, bright conditions like its natal home in Mexico. A loner, it appreciates it if you resist the urge to mist or water very often, and likes being left alone. Lilac colored three petaled blooms show up regularly, looking lovely against the dull green leaves.
