ZZ plants are quite popular for their angular beauty and easygoing care needs. Also called “Zuzu plant” this plant is often seen in larger sizes in hotels, office and medical buildings for its ability to go a long time between waterings and ability to easily handle dark corners to very bright light. Thick stems rise up, bulbous at the soil and narrowing at the top, sporting offset, shiny, emerald green leaves. New stems keep adding to the mix, making the plant fuller all the time. Almost succulent like, ZZ can be forgiving of your watering habits, happily staying pretty darn dry for a long time. Overall height will be around 2′ to 3′. Summertime may bring yellow flowers hidden among the leaves.

- Water – Low/Med (2): Doesn’t need as much water, but doesn’t like to stay dry for too long. Plant will become droopy when really thirsty.
