Mangave ‘Jaguar’ is an agave hybrid with Manfreda guttata. Fast growing and tight offsetting 2′ tall x 3′ wide clumps are composed of soft, fleshy, upright olive green denticulate leaves with purplespots that give this plant its jaguar impression.
Slender flower stems withmanfreda-like flower spikes at maturity that can be snipped off at the base once they’ve faded and will not affect the health and longevity of the plant as they do with agave. Thrives in full sun but will tolerate some shade throughout the day. Mangaveare versatile hybridsthat tolerate occassionalwet or poorly drained soil, as well as drier conditions. Hardy to low 20s.
