Crassula Marneriana: “Jade Necklace” so named because its crazy looks remind one of chunky, squarish, jade green beads closely strung together. Marneriana is upright when young then gets kinda crazy wiggling around in the pot and will eventually settle down and trail over the edge of the pot. Coming from South Africa, it loves sunny and dry places and will be happiest with morning or late afternoon direct sun. After some time tanning in the sun, the edges of the leaves will turn bright maroon-red and some sun-baked individuals will bronze up completely for protection. Expect bunches of white-pink star shaped flowers to decorate the ends of the stems often.

• Water – Low (1): Needs very little water to survive. Wait until the plant is completely dry then fully soak.Drought tolerant by nature.
• High- (5): Plant needs a lot of light; direct is even better. These plants do best when placed on a window sill or next to a bright window. Avoid concentrated, hot light from window which may cause burning(magnifying glass effect).
• Difficulty – Low (1):These plants need barely any attention to thrive. Set it and forget it.
