PARK tray in Forest

The defining feature of Echizen lacquerware lies in its unique Awaia subtle space that exists between industrial production and craftsmanship, and another Awai that emerges in the way a utensil can embrace multiple uses. The product PARK was designed around these two concepts of Awai.

Its half-pipe form is inspired by the gentle partitions often seen in lacquerware serving dishes and plates. At the dining table, it can serve as a tray, bowl, or plate. On your desk, it neatly gathers scattered stationery or eyeglasses. Placed on an entryway shelf, it becomes the perfect spot for keys and accessories. While there are standard ways to use it, PARK is also meant to inspire creative arrangements that naturally arise from everyday life.
