Large native tree eventually forming large tufts of foliage at the branch tips.A 45-60m high tree with dense rounded crown.It is native to coastal northeastern Australia and the island of New Guinea.The leaves are spirally arranged,the juvenile ones narrowly lanceolate,8-25mm long and the adult ones shorter,incurved and densely overlapping,green to blue-green.The cones are void,globose,10×7.5cm.
