Youll notice ovate, softly serrated leaves arranged in opposite pairs along square stems, creating a compact, dense mound of colour that reads like a soft-pink carpet on a shelf or in a mixed container. The visual effect is gentler and more pastel than the deeper burgundy or highcontrast patterns you see on many coleus varieties.

As an indoor plant it keeps a moundforming habit rather than climbing or trailing. Leaf colour shifts with light: brighter indirect light usually intensifies the pink, while deeper shade can make leaves paler and encourage leggier stems. Regular pinching or trimming encourages bushier branching and fuller growth; its also easy to propagate from stem cuttings if you want more plants to share or refresh your display.

In real rooms youll find it lively but not troublefree: keep it out of hot direct sun to avoid leaf scorch, and avoid deep shade to prevent stretch and colour loss. Susceptible to common sap feeders (aphids, whiteflies, spider mites) indoors; inspect leaves regularly.
