Waxvine: Hoya australis – 5 inch pot

The Hoya australis is also known as the Waxvine and Common Waxflower is a part of the highly coveted Hoya family. It is a vine found on the edges of rainforests and rocky areas throughout Australia.Hoyas areoften been featured in magazines including Architectural Digest as a less commonvining plant that is developing a cultlike following.

Sun: Hoyas can take the hot direct sun and perform best in this light.

Water: They want to get nice and dry between waterings. Expect to water them every 4 weeks in the winter and every other week in the spring/summer.

Humidity: Normal humidity is fine but it won’t enjoy getting hot dry air blow on it in the winter or being right beside your cool ac vent in the summer.
