First discovered in 1935 in California by Roy Wurtz, this dwarf tree is the only dwarf avocado in cultivation and is uniquely suited to gardens of all sizes. With a mid-range oil content, Wurtz has a creamy texture and mild flavour lending it to myriad dishes. Also known as Little Cado (Little avo-Cado) this really is an ornamental edible, with a wonderful habit and delicious healthy fruit croping for 4-5 months each year. On Reed rootstock.
