Epimedium sutchuenense is a broadleaf evergreen perennial groundcover with green and red foliage. In spring purple and white flowers emerge. Grows well with bright shade and drought tolerant once established. Epimedium are a rare and unusual genus of flowering plants in the family Berberidaceae and are also known as barrenwort, bishop’s hat, fairy wings, horny goat weed or yin yang huo.
