Philodendron hederaceum ‘Scandens’, the Heartleaf Philodendron, produces small, glossy, heart-shaped leaves in a rich, deep green on long, trailing stems that cascade beautifully from a hanging planter or climb happily up a moss pole. It handles low light, irregular watering, and a wide range of indoor conditions with good grace, making it one of the easiest and most forgiving Philodendrons.

Origins
Native to Central America, the Caribbean, and parts of northern South America, Philodendron hederaceum grows as a climbing hemiepiphyte in tropical forest, ascending tree trunks and trailing across the forest floor.
