How to Grow:
Sow seeds from mid-May to early June in a sunny location when soil temperatures reach at least 21C. Plant seeds 2.5 to 5 cm deep, spacing them 12.5 cm apart in rows 90 cm apart. After germination, thin plants to 25 cm apart. Keep the soil consistently moist and weed-free throughout the growing season. In the fall, after the first frost, dig up the entire plant and allow it to dry in a cool, ventilated area such as a garage or basement for optimal curing.
For enjoyment, roast peanuts at 175-190C for 15-20 minutes or 20-25 minutes in the shell. Growing your own peanuts offers a unique experience, from garden to table, while promoting sustainable practices.
