Lactuca sativa Adaptable iceberg, uniform and unfussy for an iceberg variety. Full of flavour , juicy and mild with a great crispy texture. Medium-size firm heads have a glossy green colour and hold up well in field and cooler. Start in trays, seeding 5mm deep. Transplant 30-45cm apart for heads, closer for looseleaf, or direct-seed more densely in rows for baby greens.
