Conspicous black dots on outside of petals of a deep and darker Flanders red to evoke it’s name sake. Though their flower can be momentary their beauty when sown in drifts or peppered through a garden bed is not to be understated.

Large single, bowl-shaped, brilliant red flowers accented by large black markings at the base of the petals just like a ladybird. Outstanding in the annual border. Hardy Annual.
